About the Bookstore

First of all, I would like to thank you for being here. Like every bookworm, I have always had the desire to be the proprietor of a small book shop. This online store is my first foray into that world, and I really appreciate you visiting.

The next thing I would like to point out is that all of the books in the bookstore (except the ones I wrote) are used, and most came from thrift stores. With that being the case, you should not buy any of these books expecting them to be in pristine condition. I go into a little more detail in the refunds and returns policy, but the only guarantees I make are that the books will be mostly in tact and contain all of the pages necessary to read the story.

Next, you will see that all of the books are set for you to “Name Your Price”, with a minimum of five dollars. I did this in the hopes that those of you who have benefited from enjoying the content on social media, or just appreciate the concept of what I’m trying to accomplish here, will be willing to contribute a few extra dollars with your purchases. By doing so, you will not only be supporting the site, but also subsidizing the purchases of the people who simply want to read great books but can’t afford to pay much. And if you are one of those people, please do not feel any guilt in paying the $5.00 minimum (as long as you promise that the book is really going to a good home).

Finally, please keep in mind that I am just one person running this thing. Being such a small operation comes with certain benefits and drawbacks to you, the customer. On the one hand, I am accessible, happy to converse, and can promise that I will always treat you kindly and with great respect. On the other hand, I also have other responsibilities, and cannot always guarantee instant responses, express shipping, or any of the other things many of us have become accustomed to in the age of Amazon and other shopping behemoths. Also, I may be a bit slow in stocking the store at times.
